This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Director at CorVent Medical Inc. The Sales Director will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, pipeline development, managing customer service activities, leading and developing sales teams, and driving business development strategies to achieve revenue goals. The primary responsibility is to market and sell all products and services which have received FDA clearance, for the regions or territories under your responsibility. You will be responsible for recruiting, mentoring and building an exceptional sales team fully capable of meeting all functional and strategic objectives. You will provide strategic and tactical direction in the management of your team and meeting your sales objectives as assigned by the CorVent Medical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Operations and Pipeline Development
- Strategically develop a robust sales pipeline within the assigned territory to meet company and individual revenue goals.
- Organize and participate in customer demos, evaluations and installs with the training and education team.
- Participate and prepare for weekly, quarterly and annual sales revues and planning.
- Ensure proper forecasting of sales in accordance with the pipeline metrics.
- Manage Customer Service Activities:
- Work with customer service and operations to ensure compliance with ordering and shipment of all goods.
- Manage the process and communication between the company and customer to ensure consistent messaging and expectations.
- Ensure the customer experience is at the highest industry level.
- Ensure CRM is consistently up to date and accurate to ensure proper forecasting of sales.
- KOL Management
- Establish and develop strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the assigned geography.
- Establish and manage reference sites within assigned geography.
- Utilize KOL’s and reference sites to help build pipeline and close deals.
- Build and Mentor Sales Teams
- Responsible for recruiting, training and developing sales team members as the company grows and region expands.
- Contribute to and help develop and mentor inside sales team.
- Conduct regular customer and employee surveys to gauge satisfaction and areas for enhancement.
- Market Development:
- Participate and assist in Industry and local conferences.
- Work closely with Marketing to communicate customer needs and feedback on products.
- Work closely with distributors/IMR’s and their teams to expand and grow market and drive revenue.
- Customer and Self Education
- Work closely with the training and education team to ensure customers both installed and new customers are trained and educated to the highest standards.
- Participate and stay current on all company training.
- Participate and ensure compliance with all regulatory training and materials.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
- Sales, Business Development, and Sales Operations skills
- 5-10 Years Medical Capital Sales Experience
- Customer Service and Team Management experience
- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
- Bachelor’s degree or related field
- 75% Travel
